Over the past few years, we have helped an increasing number of clients to add Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) to their employee benefits program. And according to a recent report, that is a trend that is being seen across the country.
The data, which was released by America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP), contained a number of highlights that may be of interest to your company. Here are two that stood out to us:
- Enrollment in health savings accounts has grown almost 15 percent since last year, reaching nearly 15.5 million
- In the last six years, enrollment in HSAs has more than tripled
