At CBG Benefits, we believe that communication is paramount to the success of any employee benefits program. It’s critical that employees have a clear understanding of their benefit plan choices during open enrollment. Also, it’s very important that they are able to easily access key plan details and forms throughout the year, as they put their plan to use.
We are happy to report that a number of enhancements were recently rolled out to the employee portal, including:
- Updated Login Process: As employers look to make life easier for their employees, it can be a challenge to ask them to remember a new username and password for a new website. However, as part of our redesigned Login page, employees will be able to take advantage of the improved “Remember Me” functionality so that they do not to need to re-enter their credentials each time they access the site.
- Sleeker User Interface: To make it easier for employees to quickly find the HR, Benefits, and Wellness information that they need throughout the year, our employee portal now has an updated user interface. This includes an updated font style and size, larger buttons, and a more flexible design.
- New and Refreshed Employee Communication Campaigns: One of the most powerful features of our employee portal is the automated Employee Communication Campaigns. Through our library, you have the ability to schedule when a variety of articles will run on the home page of the portal throughout the year. To help you keep the portal fresh and full of relevant content, all of the communications within the library have been rejuvenated with new images and updated text. In addition, a number of articles were added to support new topics.
- Simplified Administration Menu: A major goal of the employee portal is to reduce the time that your HR department needs to spend on data-entry tasks. As part of this redesign, you will now have the ability to utilize a simplified Administration menu, which will help you to quickly access features to create and edit employees, set up and manage Life Events, and run reports.

In the near future, we will also be rolling an updated interface for the portal’s Open Enrollment module, an enhanced rules-based election process to eliminate data entry errors, and more.
