Massachusetts Insurance Companies Launch Online Cost-Comparison Tools

To help people take more control over their potential healthcare costs, the state of Massachusetts recently launched the Get The Deal on Care” website.

This website was created in partnership with 13 Massachusetts health insurance companies. The launch of the site follows 2012 regulations that mandate insurers provide online cost-estimating tools.

As opposed to housing cost-comparison tools on its own site, the site primarily directs consumers to visit the website of their specific insurance company. After logging in, they are able to access the online cost estimator tool provided by their carrier.
