Minimum Wage Rate Increases for Jan. 1, 2015

Here is an overview of which States have scheduled minimum wage increases for January 1st, 2015 --- via CBG Benefits.Will your company be impacted by minimum wage changes in 2015?

As of Dec. 1, 2014, 21 states have announced increases in their minimum wage rates for Jan. 1, 2015. What does this mean for affected employers? Two key action items that they’ll want to take to remain compliant with wage and hour regulations are:

  • Reviewing their employees’ pay rates
  • Updating their minimum wage poster notices as necessary

As of December 1st, 2014, here the states that have minimum wage increases scheduled to to be implemented for January 2015:

– AK: $8.75
– AR: $7.50
– AZ: $8.05
– CO: $8.23
– CT: $9.15
– FL: $8.05
– HI: $7.75
– MA: $9.00
– MD: $8.00
– MO: $7.65

– MT: $8.05
– NE: $8.00
– NJ: $8.38
– OH: $8.10
– OR: $9.25
– RI: $9.00
– SD: $8.50
– VT: $9.15
– WA: $9.47
– WV: $8.00
