Is your organization subject to the recordkeeping requirements of the federal Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA)? If so, please take note of the upcoming posting deadline regarding the OSHA Form 300A Summary.
Applicable employers are required to post the document from February 1st through April 30th, 2016.
The Form 300A document primarily lists the total number of job-related injuries and illnesses that occurred during the previous year. In addition, it must be posted even if there were no work-related injuries or illnesses occurred during the year.
While some industries are exempt from this requirement, we encourage all employers to review whether this compliance requirement applies to their business.
